Studio closing by 1st March 2010

The studio will be closed shortly however we will still be able to do location recording work. Thanks to everyone who supported us over the years.

The Fos Brothers drum sessions

It was a pleasure to have the Fos Brothers in the studio recently, recording the drum parts for their next album. Lovely guys and the most amazing packed lunch I've ever seen! find out more about them here.

CSR and T-racks3 now available at Livid

Our latest addition to our collection is the fantastic CSR reverb suite from IK Multimedia, and also T-Racks3 also from IK Multimedia. The CSR features algorithms from the Lexicon hardware reverb units and it's been getting alot of use recently for those silky vocal reverbs. T-Racks3 is a mastering package, although we have superior plugins for most jobs, I have to say the T-Racks3 compressor is rather tasty for rockier stuff.

In the studio

The Needletones have recently had a live gig recorded and then mixed and mastered at Livid, - also watch out for their E.P. which will be coming in the next few months - featuring bonus live tracks from the gig session,- also recorded here at Livid (there is now a short excerpt in the Recordings section)
